The Melancia’s website contains materials which is owned or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the graphic design, layout and/or images. Reproduction is prohibited other than the accordance with the United Kingdom trade mark law.

All products are subject to availability and we endeavour to inform the customer about any unavailable items as soon as possible. Products may vary slightly in colour or form as each one is individually handmade.
Melancia Eco-Jewellery will not be liable in respect of customer or third party recipient failure to comply with the following product safety instructions:
. children under the age of 10 years, should not wear jewellery unsupervised and should not be inserting any jewellery into their mouths or other orifices.
. some individuals may experience skin conditions or allergies when in contact with metals used in jewellery and the wearing of such items is at your own risk.
. some individuals may find the acid in their skin reacts with silver or plated metals and causes discolouration and this is at your own risk.
. jewellery should not be worn when undertaking hazardous activities.
Ordering Online & Payments
We accept payments from PayPal. The total cost of your order is the price of your products plus delivery charges as quoted on the delivery page and also on your order confirmation. All prices are displayed in pound sterling. Payments must be received in full.
Our acceptance of your order takes place on the dispatch of our products to you unless we notify you we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
We do not have to accept your order and reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order once it has been placed. This may be done for example if:
. your payment hasn’t been authorised or has been marked as fraudulent, or potentially fraudulent by the payment system.
. payment has been made using a card not issued in a country we dispatch to.
. there is an error on the website regarding the price or description of a product.
. the items ordered are no longer in stock or available.
. we have tried contacting you about your order and have not heard back within 5 working days.
By placing an order with us you are confirming that any information you have given is true and accurate and that you are authorised to use the card on which the payment was made.
Online Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order please email us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org. They can be cancelled at any time until the order is dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched we will be unable to redirect it therefore please return the parcel for a refund when it is received.
We will endeavour to meet any given date for delivery however we cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control. If we are unable to meet the expected delivery date we shall inform you by email or phone as soon as possible.
Items will be sent to the delivery address provided at time of order – it is your responsibility to ensure this is correct. If your order is returned to us because the courier or postal service could not complete the delivery to you for whatever reason, then you will be responsible for the repeat delivery costs.
Once dispatched all orders are fully insured by Royal Mail or ourselves until they have been delivered and signed for.
As soon as your order has been delivered, or confirmed as having been delivered by Royal Mail, then you will be responsible for them.
Please note that any important duty and taxes incurred for shipping to certain countries are the responsibility of the customer.
Late or Lost Deliveries
We cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of dispatch (30 days for international deliveries). Royal Mail deems items as “lost” only after this amount of time.
If the goods are not received within 7 working days from the order date please notify us by email.
If the goods we delivered are incorrect or damaged, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by email within 28 days of the delivery. All original transit packaging and the damaged or incorrect item(s) must be returned to the company before any refund or replacement can be made.
We cannot be held responsible for any delays once the goods have left us and are in the possession of the courier or Royal Mail.
Notifications of damaged goods, incorrect orders and goods not received should be made by email to: email@example.com
The right to cancel does not include piercings on the grounds of health protection.
Therefore, earrings and any other piercing jewellery items are not suitable for returns.
We may offer promotional discount codes, which may apply in respect of orders made at Melancia Eco-Jewellery. These codes may only be used on full-price items and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discounts. We retain the right to withdraw or cancel a discount or promotion at any time. We also hold the right to refuse to.
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your Statutory Rights. Errors and omissions excepted. We have taken care to describe items as accurately as possible, however slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our jewellery.
What Information do we collect and how do we use it?
When you make a purchase with us we will need some information to process your order or issue personalised emails. This information helps us get your jewellery to you as quick as possible.
When you register with us we will need your name and email address.
If you place an order we will need your phone number, postal address and finally your billing address.
We ensure that the processing of our data will be done lawfully, fairly and transparently. We never store credit card details.
We will only keep your data for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of the retention period, we will delete your data.
